The national natural monument of Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 cave on the northern side of the Low Tatras is the longest cave system in Slovakia. Among its landmarks is the Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 jasky\u0148a slobody, which has enchanted visitors for many years with its rich sinter filling of various colors, the mysterious underground stream of Dem\u00e4novka, and its magical lakes. The cave is the richest of the well-known Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 caves in terms of drip decoration. The artificially excavated entrance is located on the western slope of Dem\u00e4novsk\u00e1 Poludnica at an altitude of 870 m above sea level. m., about 50 m above the level of Dem\u00e4novka. It has been open to the public since 1924. Of the total length of 8,897 m (including the Pusta cave), only 1,600 m is open to the public.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
